2008 Marching Band Pre-Season Schedule

Spring: There will be spring mini-camps like last year.  Details TBA

Summer Pre-Season
August 4th - 6th -- 1p-6p
August 11th -15th -- 9a-6p
August 18th - 22nd -- 9a-6p

2008 Regular Season Rehearsal Schedule
Starting on Tuesday, August 26 (the week before school starts)
We will have practice every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 3p-6p.

Powhatan is just a few miles west of the capital city of Richmond, VA, and is a dynamic synthesis of modern society and rural community.  Powhatan High School is pleased to offer one of the premier bands programs in the heart of Virginia.  Concert Bands, Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, two Percussion Ensemble Classes, Winterguard, Winter Percussion, and much more.

Powhatan's instrumental music program is a vibrant and growing organization filled with many performance opportunities covering the full spectrum of styles and time periods.  In addition, Powhatan Bands also offers outstanding opportunities in the visual performing arts.
